Hello babes today I come with you with a review from the company called Black Phoenix Alchemy lab. BPAL is a company based in California that create body and household scents. Their scents have a romantic and Gothic under tone.
Now, I actually found this brand on Pinterest and eventually became obsessed with their theming. Receiving it’s a mix of horror, Victorian and, Gothic. After Pinterest it linked me to their Facebook site to see pictures of the people involved in making these perfumes, any and many positive reviews about their perfumes how it helped them because of some of the essential oils that are in their perfumes.
I recommend checking out their product’s here on their website! If you aren’t into perfumes or cosmetic brands, i would recommend just checking out their amazing art.
So I actually reached out to the company if they would like and they were so kind enough to say yes!! Any person I was contacted through through email was so nice and friendly.
One thing I really love seeing is that this company host events that you would go to which they often pair up with Charities. The most recent one is actually going to be in Georgia at the end of the month, even though I do live in Florida which is the closest thing to Georgia (beside actually living in Georgia) I hope I can make it and meet the wonderful people that I was able to get in contact with.
(From top, middle and last row)
A contrary, conflicted scent, bubbling with merry madness. Contains apple, rose, and lemon.
To me this scent was sweet and dark. It had a very lovely mix of scents.
Iron filings and chips of stone, Styrian Golding hops, and soot-covered leather.
Now, this scent to me smelled like sweet banana icecream.. I know that’s not what the brand wants to hear. But, to my boyfriend smelled very sweet with a hint of spice.
A sultry, exotic scent that inspires devious plotting and clandestine affairs. It is a scent painted in artifice, veiled in deceit, and slithering with whispered secrets. Black palm, with cocoa, fig and shadowy wooded notes.
Extoic scent is exactly what this is. You can really smell the hints of cocoa.
buckskin accord with Terebinth pine, Russian birch, black ironwood, elder bark, hay, armoise, juniper, patchouli, galangal root, Spanish moss, and cabreuva.
Because i live in Florida, i am fimiliar with the scent of Spanish moss. I was pleasantly surprised when i opened the bottle to smell exactly like fresh cut grass.
Rigid oak, blue chamomile, rhubarb, and fig leaf.
This was the darkest scent to me. Even though my boyfriend thought the darkest scent out of all was Ranger.
A Countenance Forboding Evil
ylang ylang, blood orange, and vetiver.
This scent was sweet like dwarf but more noticeable because their darker undertones.
My favorites & thoughts
My three favorites would be
- A Countenance Forboding Evil
I’ve been noticing in my routine that i grab for Intrigue most of the time. When i go to work, i have at least one employee ask me what my perfume is!!
